Matthew's Story

Six of us are going to complete the 3 peak challenge this summer by climbing the 3 highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in under 24 hours.

A personal fitness challenge as we turn 30 but more importantly a chance to raise some serious cash for some amazing charities!

My charity is 'Mind'; the Mental Health Charity, which means a lot to me. Ben Nevis / Beinn Nibheis (1,344 m or 4,409 ft), the highest mountain in Scotland

Scafell Pike (978 m or 3,209 ft), the highest mountain in England Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa (1,085 m or 3,560 ft), the highest mountain in Wales The total distance walked is estimated at around 43km/26 miles with a total ascent of 9,800 feet (3,000 metres)

Matthew successfully completed the 3 peak challenge in just over 20 hours so 4 hours to spare. He raised £1255.00 for Mind (The Mental Health Charity)

Laura's Story

In Oct 2014 aged 34, Lu was diagnosed with breast cancer. Laura had a lumpectomy, then chemo and finally radiotherapy.

Unfortunately in June 2016 she found out it was back. Secondary breast cancer cells in her bone and so this time it couldn't be cut out!!! The chemo wiped her out so much the first time round she knew she didn't want to go down that route again.

So Laura decided Clean living, organic fruit and veg, no more meat, no dairy, loads of juicing, healthy suppliments, alkaline water - the list goes on maybe the answer.

Its nearly 12 months since her secondary diagnosis and she had amazing news. The cancer has not grown and it has not spread. The Drs words "keep doing what your doing - it's helping". After researching night after night

She came across a page about IV treatments and believes it will help her battle to rid herself of this disease for good. Laura has had a few treatments now and is feeling so much better .

We all want to help and so loads of fund raising ideas are in the pipeline to pay for her treatments.
